Rules of the European Synagogue for Marriage procedures:

1. We strongly suggest that when a potential match is made, that it be discussed first with the Rabbi, as to avoid any complications down the road. The Rabbi will look into the family history etc. and alert any issues that need to be ironed out.

2. Marriages are performed only for couples who are both Jewish by birth and the mothers are Jewish by birth.

3. .In the event that someone is a convert, whether the bride or the groom or their mothers, then, besides that they have to be true Torah observant people, their conversion has to be recognized by the chief Rabbinate of Israel. It is not enough that the Converting Rabbi is acceptable to the Israeli Rabbinate, it is this specific case that needs to be presented and approved in writing by the chief Rabbinate.

An application form will be uploaded soon. In the meantime kindly send an email your request to Rabbi at Rabbigarelik@sichosonline.org
